Potosi is home to the Potosi Brewing Company, which brewed beer in Southwest Wisconsin for 120 years. The complex housing the brewery contains a transportation museum, the National Brewery Museum, the Great River Road Interpretive Center, a microbrewery, gift shop, and restaurant. The town also is the site for a national wildlife refuge, a museum dedicated to business memorabilia, and offers a self-guided auto tour of historical sites.

The Potosi Brewery Complex includes the National Brewery Museum™, Transportation Museum, Great River Road Interpretive Center, gift shop, restaurant & brewpub. The National Brewery Museum™ showcases a collection of breweriana memorabilia & artifacts dating back to the late 1800's. Preservation of brewing history is housed in this wonderful restored facility that dates back to 1852.
